No fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.
The bill would affect the operations of property owners' associations (POA), which are not political subdivisions. The bill would also authorize a county attorney in a county with a population of more than 200,000 to recover from a POA or an owner that violates Chapter 203, Property Code, $1,000 for each violation by a POA and $100 for each violation by an owner.
