IN RE: | SB1058 by Lindsay (Relating to nonprofit water supply and sewer service corporations in certain counties.), As Introduced |
No fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
Under current statute, the additional powers are granted only to corporations within Harris County. The bill would remove the population bracket, making the powers apply to all nonprofit water supply and sewer service corporations. Nonprofit water supply and sewer service corporations are not a political subdivision.
