No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.


The Department of Human Services indicates that any costs incurred as a result of the passage of the bill could be absorbed by the agency.


Local Government Impact

No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated. Local law enforcement agencies would incur additional personnel overtime costs to send officers to gather more information from victims, witnesses, and crime scenes, but the costs are not expected to be significant.
