No fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The Texas Workforce Commission (TWC) notes that $546,154 in General Revenue is budgeted each year for programs affected by this bill.  These funds provide required match for approximately $14.5 million in federal funds.

It is assumed the provisions of the bill would have no fiscal impact to the state because TWC would still have authority to pursue these funds after implementation of the bill.

Local Government Impact

No fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
