SB1194 by Carona (Relating to the regulation of certain facilities, homes, and agencies that provide child-care services.), As Engrossed

No fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend various provisions of the Human Resources Code relating to the licensing and regulation of child care facilities.  The bill would require that any person who operates a child care institution/facility be licensed and would eliminate alternative accreditation options for these entities. 

Local Government Impact

No fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
