No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would require the Department of Health to develop rules for the establishment of two patient pools and an organ sharing pool for the purpose of allocating kidneys for transplant in Texas, to the extent allowed by federal law. 

The Department of Health indicates that the implementation of the provisions of the bill would have no significant fiscal impact on the agency or public health.

Local Government Impact

No fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
