No fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would prohibit a home-rule municipality that has a population of more than 100,000 from granting public money for certain business enterprises. The bill would take effect September 1, 2003 and would apply only to an economic incentive offered on or after that date.

Local Government Impact

No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
