No fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.
The bill would establish procedures required when a political subdivision that supplies fresh water for domestic or commercial use or to furnish sanitary sewer services, roadways, or drainage, seeks to add territory to its jurisdiction if the territory is in the extraterritorial jurisdiction of a municipality. The bill would take effect September 1, 2003.
