No fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would authorize a municipality to regulate single-family and duplex industrialized housing, including requiring local permits and licenses that are applicable to other single-family and duplex dwellings, requiring certain value levels are met, and setting various structural and aesthetic standards to be met. The bill would take effect immediately if it receives a two-thirds vote in each house; otherwise, it would take effect September 1, 2003.

Local Government Impact

No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
