SB1327 by Gallegos (Relating to the salary of an assistant county auditor.), As Introduced

No fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend the Local Government Code to remove the salary of an assistant auditor from the 5 percent limit placed on annual increases for the budget of the county auditor's office.

The bill would take effect July 1, 2003 if it receives a two-thirds vote in each house; otherwise, it would take effect September 1, 2003.

The fiscal impact would depend on decisions made by the county commissioners court.


Local Government Impact

No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
