IN RE:	SB1398 by Ogden (Relating to the admissibility of the use or nonuse of certain safety devices in a civil trial.), As Introduced

No fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend the Transportation Code by repealing provisions that the use or nonuse of a child passenger safety seat system; or, the use or nonuse of a safety belt is not admissable in a civil trial. 

The bill would take effect September 1, 2003.

Local Government Impact

No fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
