SB1405 by Lucio (Relating to the authority of the Texas Department of Agriculture to manage an in-state quarantine.), As Introduced

No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

This bill amends language in the Agriculture Code to clarify the Department of Agriculture's quarantine procedures in order to put TDA more in line with USDA standards. 

The agency indicates that similar functions are currently performed and any additional costs can be absorbed within current resources.

No fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
