No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

This bill would amend the statute relating to conflicts of interest involving lobbyists and increase the penalty for knowingly violating conflict of interest provisions from a Class B misdemeanor to a Class A. misdemeanor.

Local Government Impact

No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
