No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.
The bill would provide for additional enforcement in the regulation of milk and milk products. The bill would establish regulations within Health and Safety Code, Chapter 431, Texas Food, Drug and Cosmetic Act, for manufacturers and distributors of milk and dairy products, with some exceptions. The Department of Health would amend their rules to incorporate the statutory changes.
