No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend the Health and Safety Code to expand the enforcement authority of the Texas Department of Health (TDH) relating to the regulation of frozen dessert products and manufacturing.

 

This bill would take effect September 1, 2003.

 

No fiscal impact is anticipated to the state because TDH has indicated that the implementation of the provisions of the bill would be possible with existing resources.


Local Government Impact

No fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
