No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.


The bill would increase the number of years records should be reviewed by the Railroad Commission. The number of years would increase from five to seven years in determining whether or not an officer of an organization has violated a statute or a Commission rule, order, license, permit or certificate relating to safety or the prevention and control of pollution in assessing whether to accept an organization report.

Any increased costs to the agency are expected to be absorbed within existing resources.
