SB1563 by Madla (Relating to the regulation of aerial fireworks.), As Introduced

No fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would add to the list of fireworks that are not permissible, aerial fireworks. The bill would also increase the minimum age of persons to whom fireworks may be sold from age 12 to age 16. The bill would take effect January 1, 2004.

The Texas Department of Insurance indicates that any costs associated with implementation of the bill could be absorbed within existing resources.

Local government entities' costs associated with implementation of the bill would result from enforcement activity.


Local Government Impact

No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
