No fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would authorize in statute the annexation of the municipality of Missouri City into the Houston Community College System District.  There is no fiscal impact to the state. 

Local Government Impact

No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated. Since Missouri City voters passed this annexation two years ago, the net fiscal impact of increased tax revenues and reductions in tuition and fee revenues for students now being charged "in-district" tuition has already been absorbed.
