IN RE:	SB1677 by Barrientos (Relating to the financing, construction, improvement, maintenance, and operation of toll facilities by the Texas Department of Transportation.), As Introduced

No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend various sections of Chapter 361, Transportation Code (Texas Turnpike Authority). The majority of these revisions are "clean-up" in nature (i.e. revise references from "authority" to "department" and "board" to "commission" and include references to Regional Mobility Authorities where necessary).

The Department of Transportation indicates the bill would have no fiscal impact.

Local Government Impact

No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
