IN RE:	SB1840 by Staples (Relating to creating a recognition day in remembrance of the Texian Navy.), As Introduced

No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend the Government Code by adding Section 662.050.  The new section would recognize September 3 as Texian Navy Day and shall be regularly observed by appropriate ceremonies and activities.

 

This bill would take effect September 1, 2003.

Local Government Impact

No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
