The bill would expand applicability of Section 377, Local Government Code, Municipal Development Districts, to include all municipalities and a municipality's extraterritorial jurisdiction (ETJ). The bill would take effect September 1, 2003.
Current statute applies only to a municipality located in more than one county and does not address the ETJ.
