The bill would amend the Code of Criminal Procedure by providing for the release on bond of certain applicants for a writ of habeas corpus seeking relief from the judgment in a criminal case.The article would expire on the first anniversary of the date on which it became law.It is assumed that the bill would not significantly affect the operations of state or local government.
