No fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The cost to the state for publication of the resolution is $85,275.


The resolution would amend the Texas Constitution by authorizing the governor to grant pardons to persons who have received deferred adjudication.  The proposed constitutional amendment is to be submitted to the voters at an election held September 13, 2003.

No fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
