Austin, Texas

ACTUARIAL IMPACT STATEMENT

78TH LEGISLATIVE REGULAR SESSION

April 4, 2003

TO:
Honorable Allan Ritter, Chair, House Committee on Pensions & Investments

FROM:
John Keel, Director, Legislative Budget Board

IN RE:
HB2210 by Ritter (Relating to the indirect cost recovery program.), As Introduced

HB2210 resolves that the indirect cost recovery program does not apply to trust funds held by a public retirement system except to the extent that the system receives a federally reimbursable indirect cost for a support service. The bill, if enacted, is estimated to not have a significant actuarial effect on any public retirement system.
