Relating to the payment of retirement to retirees of the Teacher Retirement System of Texas who are employed as substitute teachers and in other public school positions in the same month.

), Committee Report 1st House, Substituted

CSHB3237 provides clarification as to whether the annuity of a Teacher Retirement System retiree who is working as a substitute teacher and at another position should be withheld in a given month. The bill, if enacted, will have no significant actuarial effect because it does not propose to change the funding or obligations of any public retirement system.
