IN RE:
HB3456 by Heflin (Relating to health benefit plans under the Texas Employees Group Benefits Act.), As Introduced

HB3456 specifies that all insurance coverage for newly hired State employees under the Texas Employees Health Insurance Plan, as found in Section 1551.105 of the Insurance Code, begins on the 90th day after employment. The proposal also defines the copayments under Section 1551.218 of the Insurance Code. The bill, if enacted, will have no actuarial effect because it does not propose to change the funding or obligations of any public retirement system.
