SB121 by Lindsay (Relating to the application of the open meetings law to certain health maintenance organizations.), Committee Report 1st House, Substituted

As a result of this bill there will be a restriction upon:

(1) the open records law,
and
(2) the access to government information.



The bill would amend Section 551.085 of the Government Code by allowing the governing board of a health maintenance organization that is subject to the Open Meetings Act to meet in closed session to discuss pricing or financial planning information and information relating to a proposed new service or product line.
