SB711 by Jackson (Relating to the application of the public information law to certain emergency preparedness plans of a county.), As Introduced

As a result of this bill there will be a restriction upon:

(1) the open records law and
(2) the access to government information.



The bill would except from the requirements of  Section 552.021 of the Government Code disclosure of a county's emergency preparedness plan if the plan contains sensitive information relating to privately owned critical infrastructures or facilities and disclosure of the plan would jeopardize the safety and security of those infrastructures or facilities.
