IN RE:
SB980 by Wentworth (Relating to the authority of the Public Utility Commission of Texas or the Railroad Commission of Texas to conduct a closed meeting to deliberate a security threat or disaster.), As Introduced

As a result of this bill there will be a restriction upon:

(1) the open meetings law and
(2) the access to government information.

Under the bill the Public Utility Commission or Railroad Commission would not be required to conduct an open meeting to deliberate the details of a plan for responding to a security threat or a disaster.
