SB984 by Wentworth (Relating to excepting a benefits appeals committee for a public self-funded health plan from deliberating the medical or psychiatric records of an individual applicant for a benefit.), As Introduced

As a result of this bill there will be a restriction upon:

(1) the open meetings law and
(2) the access to government information.


Under the bill a benefits appeals committee for a public self-funded health plan would not be required to conduct an open meeting to deliberate the medical or psychiatric records of an individual applicant for a benefit from the plan.
