Absent: Representative Miller (1). A quorum was present. SB1828 The chair laid out SB1828. (Representative Miller now present.) Representative Hardcastle offered a complete committee substitute. The chair recognized Representative Swinford to explain the measure. Testimony was taken. (See attached witness list.) The chair recognized Representative Swinford to close on the measure. The committee substitute was withdrawn without objection. The bill was left pending without objection. SB970 Pursuant to the suspension of the 5-day posting rule made by the chair on May 19th on the House floor, the chair laid out SB970. The chair recognized Representative Puente to explain the measure. Testimony was taken. (See attached witness list.) The chair recognized Representative Puente to close on the measure. Representative Burnam moved that SB970, without amendments, be reported favorably to the full house with the recommendation that it do pass and be printed.
