         Pursuant to a notice posted on February 25, 2003, the House  
         Committee on Appropriations-S/C on Criminal Justice met in a  
         formal meeting and was called to order by the chair,  
         Representative Turner, at 8:43 p.m. 
          
         The roll was answered as follows: 
          
         Present:  Representatives Turner; Ellis; Kolkhorst; Stick (4). 
          
         Absent:   Representative Berman (1). 
          
         A quorum was present. 
                                                       
         The subcommittee met to discuss issues relating to  
         appropriations for 2004-2005. 
          
         At 9:42 p.m., on the motion of the chair and without objection,  
         the meeting was adjourned until adjournment/recess of the  
         Appropriations Committee public hearing, February 27, 2003.
