         Upon adjournment/recess of the Appropriations Committee public  
         hearing

         Pursuant to a notice posted and revised on February 26, 2003,  
         the House Committee on Appropriations-S/C on General Government  
         met in a formal meeting and was called to order by the chair,  
         Representative Pickett, at 8:31 p.m. 
          
         The roll was answered as follows: 
          
         Present:  Representatives Pickett; Hamric; Isett; McClendon (4). 
          
         Absent:   Representative Crownover (1). 
          
         A quorum was present. 
          
         The subcommittee met to discuss issues relating to  
         appropriations for 2004-2005. 
          
         (Representative Crownover now present.) 
          
         At 10:51 p.m., on the motion of the chair and without objection,  
         the meeting was adjourned.
