Reagan Building, Room 120 Pursuant to a notice posted on April 10, 2003, the House Committee on Corrections met in a public hearing and was called to order by the chair, Representative Allen, at 7:06 a.m. The roll was answered as follows: Present: Representatives Allen; Hopson; Alonzo; Haggerty (4). Absent: Representatives Stick; Farrar; Mabry (3). A quorum was present. (Representative Hopson in chair.) HB 1669 The chair laid out HB 1669 as pending business. Representative Hopson offered a complete committee substitute. The chair recognized Representative Allen to explain the measure. (Representative Stick now present.) Testimony was taken. (See attached witness list.) (Representative Farrar now present.) (Representative Mabry now present.) The committee substitute was withdrawn without objection. The bill was left pending without objection. (Representative Allen in chair.)
