         Pursuant to a notice posted on May 16, 2003, as well as, a  
         suspension of the rules to add certain bills to the agenda, the  
         House Committee on Economic Development met in a public hearing  
         and was called to order by the chair, Representative Keffer,  
         Jim, at 8:18 a.m. 
          
         The roll was answered as follows:

         Absent:   Representatives Isett; Rodriguez; Thompson (3).

         The chair laid out SB 1819.

         measure.

         be reported favorably to the full house with the recommendation  
         that it do pass and be printed and be sent to the Committee on  
         Local and Consent Calendars. The motion prevailed by the
