         Pursuant to a notice posted on March 16, 2004, the House  
         Committee on Elections met in a work session and was called to  
         order by the chair, Representative Denny, at 10:14 a.m. 
          
         The roll was answered as follows: 
          
         Present:  Representatives Denny; Howard; Harper-Brown (3). 
          
         Absent:   Representatives Deshotel; Bohac; Coleman; Uresti (4). 
          
         The committee convened to examine selected certified voting  
         systems. 
          
         (Representative Bohac now present.)  A quorum now present. 
          
         At 11:44 a.m., on the motion of the chair and without objection,  
         the meeting was adjourned subject to the call of the chair.
