         Pursuant to a notice posted on March 14, 2003, the House  
         Committee on Energy Resources met in a public hearing and was  
         called to order by the chair, Representative West, George  
         "Buddy", at 8:03 a.m. 
          
         The roll was answered as follows: 
          
         Present:  Representatives West, George "Buddy"; Farabee; Crabb;  
                   Keffer, Bill (4). 
          
         Absent:   Representatives Jones, Elizabeth; Canales; Delisi (3). 
          
         A quorum was present. 
          
         The Chairman made opening remarks.

         The chair laid out HB 942. 
          
         The chair recognized Representative Chisum to explain the  
         measure.  
          
         Testimony was taken.  (See attached witness list.) 
          
         (Representative Canales now present.)(Representative Delisi now  
         present.) 
          
         The chair recognized Representative Chisum to close on the  
         measure.  
          
         The bill was left pending without objection.  
          
         At 8:27 a.m., on the motion of the chair and without objection,  
         the meeting was adjourned subject to the call of the chair.
