Pursuant to a notice posted on March 28, 2003, the House
Committee on Energy Resources met in a public hearing and was
called to order by the chair, Representative West, George
"Buddy", at 8:05 a.m.
The roll was answered as follows:
Present: Representatives West, George "Buddy"; Farabee; Jones,
Elizabeth; Keffer, Bill (4).
Absent: Representatives Canales; Crabb; Delisi (3).
A quorum was present.

Opening remarks made by Chairman West.
HB 2301
The chair laid out HB 2301. The chair recognized Representative
Jones, Elizabeth to explain the measure.
Testimony was taken. (See attached witness list.)
The chair recognized Representative Jones, Elizabeth to close on
the measure.
Representative Farabee moved that HB 2301, without amendments,
be reported favorably to the full house with the recommendation
that it do pass and be printed and be sent to the Committee on
Local and Consent Calendars. The motion prevailed by the
following record vote:
Ayes: Representatives West, George "Buddy";
Farabee; Jones, Elizabeth; Canales; Delisi;
Keffer, Bill (6).
Nays: None (0).
Present, Not Voting: None (0).
Absent: Representative Crabb (1).

At 8:55 a.m., on the motion made by Chairman West and without
objection, the committee meeting was recessed until the
adjournment of the House, April 3, 2003. Pursuant to an
announcement on the House Floor the committee reconvened at 1:00
p.m. and was called to order by the chair, Representative West,
George "Buddy". The roll was answered as follows:

Absent: Representatives Jones, Elizabeth; Crabb; Delisi (3).
