         Upon final adjourn./recess

         Pursuant to an announcement from the house floor on April 16,  
         2003, the House Committee on Energy Resources met in a formal  
         meeting and was called to order by the chair, Representative  
         West, George "Buddy", at 12:30 a.m on April 17, 2003. 
          
         The roll was answered as follows: 
          
         Present:  Representatives West, George "Buddy"; Jones,  
                   Elizabeth; Canales; Crabb; Delisi; Keffer, Bill (6). 
          
         Absent:   Representative Farabee (1). 
          
         A quorum was present. 
          
         The chair directed that the April 9, 2003, minutes for the House  
         Committee on Energy Resources be corrected. The corrected  
         minutes were authorized without objection. 
          
         The chair directed that the April 10, 2003, minutes for the  
         House Committee on Energy Resources be corrected. The corrected  
         minutes were authorized without objection. 
          
         HB 2006 
          
         The chair recalled HB 2006 from subcommittee.  
          
         The committee substitute was withdrawn without objection. 
          
         Representative Keffer, Bill offered a complete committee  
         substitute.  
          
         The committee substitute was adopted without objection. 
          
         Representative Canales moved that HB 2006, as substituted, be  
         reported favorably to the full house with the recommendation  
         that it do pass and be printed. The motion prevailed by the  
         following record vote:  
          
         Ayes:               Representatives West, George "Buddy"; Jones,  
                             Elizabeth; Canales; Delisi; Keffer, Bill  
                             (5).  
           
         Nays:               Representative Crabb (1).  
           
         Present, Not Voting:     None  (0).  
           
         Absent:        Representative Farabee  (1).  
          
         HB 942 
  
         The chair moved to reconsider the vote by which the measure was  
         reported from committee. The motion to reconsider prevailed  
         without objection.  
          
         Representative Jones, Elizabeth moved that HB 942, as  
         substituted, be reported favorably to the full house with the  
         recommendation that it do pass and be printed and be sent to the  
         Committee on Local and Consent Calendars. The motion prevailed  
         by the following record vote:  
          
         Ayes:               Representatives West, George "Buddy"; Jones,  
              Elizabeth; Crabb; Delisi;                              
              Keffer, Bill (5).  
           
         Nays:               None (0).  
           
         Present, Not Voting:     None  (0).

         At 12:50 a.m., on the motion of the chair and without objection,  
         the meeting was adjourned subject to the call of the chair.
