Pursuant to a notice posted on April 30, 2003, the House
Committee on Financial Institutions met in a public hearing and
was called to order by the chair, Representative Solomons, at
8:37 p.m.

The chair laid out SB 252, the companion to HB 2673, which the
committee has previously reported favorably.
The chair recognized Representative Flynn to explain the
measure.
Representative Flynn offered an amendment to the measure.
The amendment was adopted without objection.
Representative Hopson moved that SB 252, as amended, be reported
favorably to the full house with the recommendation that it do
pass and be printed and be sent to the Committee on Local and
Consent Calendars. The motion prevailed by the following record
vote:
Ayes: Representatives Solomons; Gutierrez; Flynn;
Hopson (4).
Nays: None (0).
