         Pursuant to a suspension of the 2-hour posting rule on March 5,  
         2003, the House Committee on House Administration, Subcommittee  
         on Policies and Procedures, met in a formal meeting and was  
         called to order by the chair, Representative Taylor, at 8:00  
         a.m. 
          
         Present:  Representatives Taylor; Dawson; Mercer (3). 
          
         Absent:   None (0). 
          
         A quorum was present. 
          
         The subcommittee discussed changes to the Policies and  
         Procedures of the House of Representatives. 
          
         The subcommittee heard from the following resource witnesses: 
         Steve Adrian, Executive Director of the House Business Office,  
         on the topic of Policies and Procedures.  
         Janice Vastine, Manager of Payroll and Personnel, on the topic  
         of Policies and Procedures.  
          
         At 9:00 a.m., on the motion of the chair and without objection,  
         the meeting was adjourned subject to the call of the chair.
