Absent: Representatives Merritt; Moreno, Paul (2). A quorum was present. At 9:06 a.m. the chair announced that the Committee would stand at ease At 9:10 a.m. the chair called the Committee to order (Representative Merritt now present) HB 9 The chair laid out HB 9 as pending business. Representative Campbell offered a complete committee substitute. The Chair explained the Substitute. The committee substitute was adopted without objection (Representative Moreno, Paul now present.) Representative Berman moved to the previous question. Representative Noriega objected The motion prevailed by the following record vote: Ayes: Representatives Corte; Campbell; Berman; Delisi; Mabry; Merritt; Seaman (7). Nays: Representative Noriega (1). Representative Delisi moved that HB 9, as substituted, be reported favorably to the full house with the recommendation that it do pass and be printed.
