         Pursuant to an announcement from the house floor on February 12,  
         2003, the House Committee on Insurance met in a formal meeting  
         and was called to order by the chair, Representative Smithee, at  
         11:40 a.m. 
          
         The roll was answered as follows:

         A quorum was present.

         The chair laid out SB 310. 
          
         Representative Gallego moved that SB 310, without amendments, be  
         reported favorably to the full house with the recommendation  
         that it do pass and be printed. The motion prevailed by the  
         following record vote:
