Pursuant to an announcement from the house floor on May 22,
2003, the House Committee on Licensing & Administrative
Procedures met in a formal meeting and was called to order by
the chair, Representative Flores, at 12:52 p.m.
The roll was answered as follows:
Present: Representatives Flores; Hamilton; Raymond; Eissler;
Homer; Jones, Delwin; (6).
Absent: Representatives Driver; Goolsby; Wise (3).
A quorum was present.
SB 292
The chair laid out SB 292 and explained.
(Representative Wise now present.)
Representative Jones, Delwin moved that SB 292, without
amendments, be reported favorably to the full house with the
recommendation that it do pass and be printed and be sent to the
Committee on Local and Consent Calendars. The motion prevailed
by the following record vote:
Ayes: Representatives Flores; Hamilton; Raymond;
Eissler; Homer; Jones, Delwin; Wise (7).
Nays: None (0).
Present, Not Voting: None (0).
Absent: Representatives Driver; Goolsby (2).
SB 1387
The chair laid out SB 1387 and explained.
Representative Homer moved that SB 1387, without amendments, be
reported favorably to the full house with the recommendation
that it do pass and be printed and be sent to the Committee on
Local and Consent Calendars. The motion prevailed by the
following record vote:
Ayes: Representatives Flores; Hamilton; Raymond;
Eissler; Homer; Jones, Delwin; Wise (7).
Nays: None (0).
Present, Not Voting: None (0).
Absent: Representatives Driver; Goolsby (2).
At 12:55 p.m., on the motion of the chair and without objection,
the meeting was adjourned subject to the call of the chair.
