The House Committee on Licensing & Administrative Procedures 78th Legislature March 12, 2004 10:30 a.m. Pharr City Hall Commissioners' Meeting Room 118 S. Cage, 2nd Floor, Pharr, Texas Pursuant to a notice posted on March 1, 2004, the House Committee on Licensing & Administrative Procedures met in a public hearing and was called to order by the chair, Representative Flores, at 11:08 a.m. The roll was answered as follows: Present: Representatives Flores; Eissler; Homer; Jones, Delwin; Wise (5). Absent: Representatives Hamilton; Raymond; Driver; Goolsby (4). A quorum was present. Rep. Flores, chair, welcomed everyone to District 36 and laid out interim charge #6, studying ways to reduce the incidence of underage drinking in Texas and recognized the first witness. Please note that all witnesses, excluding those appearing on behalf of a state agency, were for the study in reducing underage drinking and against underage drinking. (State agency personnel must be neutral). Rep. Flores, chair, announced that the next committee meeting will be held in Austin in April.
