         Pursuant to a notice posted on February 12, 2003, the House  
         Committee on Land & Resource Management met in a public hearing  
         and was called to order by the chair, Representative Mowery, at  
         10:04 a.m. 
          
         The roll was answered as follows: 
          
         Present:  Representatives Mowery; Jones, Jesse; Pickett;  
                   Goolsby; Guillen; Haggerty; Hochberg; Howard (8). 
          
         Absent:   Representative Noriega (1). 
          
         A quorum was present. 
          
         Chairman Mowery and the members of the committee discussed  
         organizational matters.

         At 10:16 a.m., on the motion of the chair and without objection,  
         the meeting was adjourned subject to the call of the chair.
