         Pursuant to a notice posted on April 16, 2004, the House  
         Committee on Land & Resource Management met in a public hearing  
         to discuss Interim Charge Number 3 regarding Purchase of  
         Development Rights Programs and was called to order by the  
         chair, Representative Mowery, at 10:05 a.m. 
          
         The roll was answered as follows: 
          
         Present:  Representatives Mowery; Escobar; Haggerty; Hochberg;  
                   Howard (5). 
          
         Absent:   Representatives Jones, Jesse; Pickett; Guillen;  
                   Noriega (4). 
          
         A quorum was present.

         (Representative Noriega now present.) 
          
         At 11:10 a.m., on the motion of the chair and without objection,  
         the meeting was adjourned subject to the call of the chair.
