         Pursuant to an announcement from the house floor on May 10,  
         2003, the House Committee on Local & Consent Calendars met in a  
         formal meeting and was called to order by the chair,  
         Representative Reyna, at 11:35 a.m. 
          
         The roll was answered as follows: 
          
         Present:  Representatives Reyna; Baxter; Callegari; Cook, Robby;  
                   Hope; Jones, Elizabeth; Rose (7). 
          
         Absent:   Representatives Deshotel; Howard; Kolkhorst; Solis  
                   (4). 
          
         A quorum was present. 
          
         Representative Reyna moved to place the following measures on  
         the Local, Consent, and Resolutions Calendar for Tuesday, May  
         13, 2003:  HB1251, HB1628, HB1826, HB2677, HB2930, HB2951. The  
         motion prevailed without objection.  
          
         At 11:37 a.m., on the motion of the chair and without objection,  
         the meeting was adjourned subject to the call of the chair.
