         Pursuant to a notice posted on May 19, 2003, the House Committee  
         on Local & Consent Calendars met in a formal meeting and was  
         called to order by the chair, Representative Reyna, at 3:15 p.m. 
          
         The roll was answered as follows:

         Representative Deshotel moved that the following measures be  
         transferred over to the House General Calendars Committee:  SB  
         1364.  The motion prevailed without objection.     
          
         Representative Solis moved that the floor amendment to SB 721  
         offered by Representative Solis be approved to be offered during  
         consideration of the Local, Consent, and Resolutions Calendar  
         for Friday, May 23, 2003.  The motion prevailed without  
         objection. 
          
         Representative Hope moved that the first floor amendment to SB  
         745 offered by Representative Hope be approved to be offered  
         during consideration of the Local, Consent, and Resolutions  
         Calendar for Friday, May 23, 2003.  The motion prevailed without  
         objection. 
          
         Representative Hope moved that the second floor amendment to SB  
         745 offered by Representative Hope be approved to be offered  
         during consideration of the Local, Consent, and Resolutions  
         Calendar for Friday, May 23, 2003.  The motion prevailed without  
         objection.      
          
         Representative Hope moved that the floor amendment to SB 1639  
         offered by Representative Hope be approved to be offered during

         for Friday, May 23, 2003.  The motion prevailed without  
         objection. 
          
         Representative Deshotel moved that the floor amendment to SB

         offered during consideration of the Local, Consent, and  
         Resolutions Calendar for Friday, May 23, 2003.  The motion  
         prevailed without objection. 
          
         Representative Cook, Robby moved that the floor amendment to SB

         prevailed without objection.
