Pursuant to an announcement from the house floor on April 28,
2003, the House Committee on Natural Resources met in a formal
meeting and was called to order by the chair, Representative
Puente, at 12:38 p.m.
The roll was answered as follows:
Present: Representatives Puente; Callegari; Hope; Geren;
Hamilton; Hardcastle (6).
Absent: Representatives Campbell; Cook, Robby; Wolens (3).
A quorum was present.
HB 2250

The chair laid out HB 2250 as pending business.
Representative Hamilton offered a complete committee substitute.
Representative Hardcastle offered an amendment to the committee
substitute.
The amendment to the committee substitute was adopted without
objection.
The committee substitute, as amended, was adopted without
objection.
The chair directed the staff to incorporate the amendments into
a committee substitute.
Representative Hope moved that HB 2250, as substituted, be
reported favorably to the full house with the recommendation
that it do pass and be printed and be sent to the Committee on
Local and Consent Calendars. The motion prevailed by the
following record vote:
Ayes: Representatives Puente; Callegari; Hope;
Cook, Robby; Geren; Hamilton; Hardcastle
(7).
Nays: None (0).
Present, Not Voting: None (0).
Absent: Representatives Campbell; Wolens (2).

The chair laid out HB 3586 as pending business.
Representative Geren offered a complete committee substitute.
The committee substitute was adopted without objection.
Representative Geren moved that HB 3586, as substituted, be
reported favorably to the full house with the recommendation
that it do pass and be printed. The motion prevailed by the
